We had a great time supporting this year's Bob Hayes Invitational Track and Field Meet at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium! Aspiring track and field athletes across the southeastern U.S. traveled to Jacksonville, Fla., to compete and honor the legacy of legendary Olympic sprinter Bob Hayes. This year's invitational marked 60 years since Hayes, who earned the nickname "Bullet Bob" for his speed, won gold medals in the individual 100-meter dash and the 4x100 relay at the 1964 Olympics. After Friday and Saturday's races and events, the meet culminated with an award ceremony including 12 scholarships.
