About

Anna was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to law school, she was a legal assistant and paralegal for ten years, supporting attorneys practicing insurance defense with specialties in personal injury and medical malpractice. Anna received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School where she served as an editor for the Nova Law Review, made the Dean’s List, and received Bronze Honors in the Pro Bono Honors Program for completing over fifty hours of community service. Following law school, she worked for prominent insurance defense firms in Florida, litigating condominium and homeowners’ association disputes involving breach fiduciary duty, defamation, and personal injuries.  She also litigated medical malpractice and personal injury claims on behalf of physicians and hospitals. When Anna relocated to New York City, she worked for a firm representing clients injured by negligence and wrongdoing from motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence.

When not toiling away at the office, appearing in court, and advocating for clients, Anna volunteers at a local not-for-profit, no kill, animal shelter.  She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
