A Florida native, Michele Waddell's career began as a licensed insurance agent. Having always been intrigued by law, it was not until she was in her 30’s that she made a leap of faith and moved from Orlando, Florida to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University for her undergraduate studies and in 2012, graduated from Liberty University School of Law where she earned a J.D with a Master’s in Public Policy.
While attending law school, she took on several internships in Washington, DC which led to an opportunity to work as legislative assistant for the House Judiciary. In 2015, an opportunity to move to Jacksonville presented itself and it is here where she began her career as a personal injury attorney, fighting for the rights of injured people. In 2020, Ms. Waddell came to Rubenstein Law, where she represents clients across the State of Florida. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Northern District, Middle District and Southern District of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.
Michele practices in the area of civil litigation involving premises liability, automobile negligence, trucking/transportation negligence, wrongful death, and negligent security.
Michele is involved in various professional organizations and non-profits, including serving on the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Holiday Project, Health and Wellness Committee, Professionalism Committee and Trial Advocacy Seminar Committee, Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association Board Member, Florida Bar Counsel to Counsel Mentor, Middle District of Florida Future Lawyers and Leaders Mentor, Florida Justice Association Eagle Member, member of the Jacksonville Justice Association and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jacksonville.
