Our client was injured in a big-box retail store when he slipped and fell on water leaking out of a poorly maintained refrigerator. Through discovery throughout the litigation process, we were able to prove that the store employees knew of the leak, and the vendor of the refrigerator was not properly maintaining the refrigerator. The defense claimed that our client’s injuries were all pre-existing and that he had a history of prior falls resulting in injuries.
