Julio Antonio Ayala
About
Born and raised in Miami, Julio has a deep connection to the local community. Julio began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, where he spent three years helping victims of robberies, burglaries, batteries, and property crimes seek justice against those who had wronged them. While working as a prosecutor, Julio gained extensive courtroom experience and served as both lead and second counsel on many jury trials.
Since departing from the State Attorney’s Office, Julio has gained significant civil litigation experience in both plaintiff and defense work, including representing personal injury victims, hospitals, physicians, homeowners, and aggrieved consumers on a wide variety of cases throughout Florida. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Julio earned his law degree at Florida International University College of Law, where he represented F.I.U. in competitions across the country as a member of the school’s Board of Appellate Advocates and was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he played fullback on the school’s varsity football team.
