Lisa-Gaye Smith was born in Jamaica and raised in South Florida. Lisa-Gaye graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, Lisa-Gaye worked as a legal assistant in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
