Defendant failed to keep control of his Tesla on I95 causing a multicar pileup. Our client was a 26 year old mother, who was driving to work, when the defendant crashed in to her car, causing her car to end up face the wrong direction on I95. After conservative treatment failed to relieve her neck pain, she was forced to undergo a neck surgery. The Defendant tried to escape liability by arguing a phantom vehicle caused him to lose control of his vehicle, and contested the severity of our client’s injuries. The last offer before trial was 200,000.00, and the jury rejected the Defendant’s excuses and returned a verdict for 2,856,231.15.
